We stayed in the <a href="http://www.visit-lomond-hotels.com/hotels/royal-marine-hotel/" rel="nofollow">Royal Marine Hotel Dunoon</a>. very nice accommodation. Stayed in Ayrshire all my life yet that was the first time I had been to Dunoon. The place is lovely. it wont be the last visit.
