TO ALL PUDSEY FUNDRAISERS
GOOD LUCK to all our listeners and to those who are giving their time to raise funds for the national CHILDREN IN NEED APPEAL.
There is still time to tell us how you are raising funds and for us to pass it on to our listeners and when you have finished your fund raising activities let us know how you got on.
Again will can tell everyone and you may be asked to come up to the corridor studio, sit on the bench in the Luxury Re/max Penthouse Suite and tell everyone yourself to what you have been up too.
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE AND ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE –LOTS OF LOVE from everyone at Dunoon Community Radio xxxx

SHIP AHOY LISTENERS the Royal Navy's flagship aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal sailed out of the Firth of Clyde at 12.00 noon today for the very last time The carrier sailed up the Firth of Clyde after a short stay at Glen Mallan Jetty on Loch Long to unload its ammunition. It is being decommissioned after 25 years of service as part of Government cuts in defence spending.
"There's a real sense of pride and dignity attached to this ship as it has served the country and the navy so well for the last 25 years and it was with great sadness to watch her sail up the Firth of Clyde

Can we ask all Dunoon Community Radio supporters to look out for us and give us a wave on the 22nd May as we pass through Dunoon on the BREASTWAYROUND
This is our 2nd year and this time we have over 100 motorcycles (mainly female) riding the west Coast of Scotland. 22nd / 25th May. The Guys amongst us will be wearing decorated Bra's. The route takes us from Kilmarnock Football Club on Friday 22 May and ends in George Square, Glasgow on Monday 25 May.
We are stopping overnight in Oban (22nd), Inverness (23rd) and Fort William (24th), so please look out for us.
Last Year we raised a total of just over £26, 500 & this year we hope to match it, as we are Riding in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support & also in Memory of Alyson Porter, our initial inspiration for this event. Sadly Aly died in July last last year aged 47, she was so proud of everything we did.
