  15. Trish says:

The story began in 2006, when a group of guys from Wales formed what is best described as a Powerhouse Melodic rock/metal band, FATAL TAUNT. They soon notched up over 60 gigs all over the uk, catching the attention of whoever got in the way and earning them airplay in Japan and America. A few years and band member changes later Fatal Taunt were reborn as COUNTERHOLD. New songs swiftly added some much needed intensity and gig wise saw them earn slots opening for Brazilian legends Sepultura, win the Welsh International BOTB’s 2011, get to the final of Hard Rock Hells’ Highway To Hell 2 in Glasgow, and finished up in December playing main support to Darkest Hour. Counterhold are in their strongest position yet and are making 2012 the most successful so far. Headline shows are being booked all over the UK with an album recording making good progress. Tune in Friday 7-9pm to hear them.

“The Other Side” are a bluesy rock band from central Fife, who got together in 2009. Within 3 months they had written and recorded 8 songs, launched themselves on Myspace and did their first gig at The Ark in Edinburgh.Described by Andy Gee, at Dead Earnest, as Blues/Rock maestros with tasty songs and searing guitar. Pretty much sums it up.

“Stranger” are a five piece rock band from the Bournemouth/Poole area, playing in the style of a huge range of classic rock and metal bands. All their material is original and they are constantly working to extend and improve their repertoire with the newly formed line up!
