DAVE de KORT

DAVES INDULGENCE

7.00pm-8.00pm Monday DAVES INDULGENCE with DAVE de KORT

I was born and brought up in Leicester but have also lived in Holland, Blackpool and more recently spent 25 years in North Wales. During this time, I did both Community and hospital radio’s and also spent 6 years recording and editing audio programmes for the blind.

I cannot honestly say what my favourite taste in music really is. It’s quite a mixed bag, usually melodious, tending to be based in or around the 60’s and very often falls into the “Easy Listening” category.

My Monday evening slot between 7 and 8 is for me a total indulgence. An hour when I thoroughly spoil myself and get to play all of my favourite music, and hopefully some of yours too.

I would love to hear from you if you if you would like to comment or suggest a tune for me to play, please leave a comment at the bottom of this page

If you’re in need of a little relaxation, why not tune into DCR on a Monday evening at 7pm. 60 minutes of great, easy listening music which will have you positively snoring by 8pm.
(not that I’ll notice, I’ll be asleep by then.)
Mash yourself a cuppa, settle into your favourite armchair and keep me company while we listen to some of the music that have helped to shape our lives.
If you have a favourite record you would like to hear, just fill in the box at the bottom of this page.

  22. I greatly enjoy your Monday evening show, with your relaxing selection of music. There is always at least one record on the playlist which makes me think, “Gosh I haven’t heard that for a long time and how good it is to be reminded of it and reunited with it.” Your Disney programmes made me feel the same way and I am looking forward to some more of the same. Keep this good stuff coming!

  46. Trev to Dave says:

    Hi Dave
Just caught the intro to your first prog.
    How sad is that?
Dunoon Community Radio gain is Sain Clwyd Sound’s loss.
I remember trailing round the wards at the Maelor and having to let down the patient who wanted ROBSON AND Jerome and ‘I believe’ and ended up with Winsor Davies and Don Estelle and ‘Whistpering Grass’! Don’t expect me to cover for you again! It’s scared, or should that be scarred, me for life and seriously stunted my efforts to break into Radio!
All the best Dave, though you don’t need it.
    Trev, from Sain Clwyd Sound.
