The recording Artist from the Record Labels that competed with mainstream pop music with only a fraction ever charting but still going strong today.

An interesting mix of Soul Music influenced by listeners input covering a fifteen year period from Motown to Atlantic/Stax through to Philadelphia soul and all the subgenres in between.

Regular features will include The Sound of Detriot, listeners favourite Motown tracks, Satin Soul, lush orchestral sounds with sensual vocals, Where It’s At classic club tracks from the sixties.

On The Floor Northern Soul described thirty five years ago as an overnight sensation, but still going strong, consisting of obscure sixties soul tracks with thumping up-tempo beat.

BIG FAT PARTY ANTHEMS

Some of you may have noticed (we have given enough hints) that we have a new ‘late nite’ radio programme going out thanks to DJ Tommy Martin (a.k.a. BIG TOMMY) from UCA Radio www.ucaradio.paisley.ac.uk

We shall be broadcasting Big Tommy’s Big Fat Party Anthems every Saturday night from 10.00pm till 1.00am. This programme is currently being broadcast on eight Community Radio Stations and has proved very popular with its listeners. BFPA id the richest, danciest, most rhythmic programme we have to date on the station.

End to end music, and a breathless bangin’ beat make this a non-stop supercharged high energy batter through the night hours. With feature tracks from British and European dance and techno, and with the famous mashups, you’d have to be brain dead not to be maoved by this beat.
