Has anyone or do you know of someone who lost their dog late last night, … it was running around beach and along Bullwood road for a couple of hours. It’s a young white dog with brown and black markings on head, very friendly and playful.. If you know who it belongs to please ask them to get in touch with Dunoon police station..763060/763040. Had to get them to come and take it as it was in danger of getting run over.
Just listened in to Derek’s ‘McIntyre In The Morning.’ Great show Derek.
I have been searching for ages for Dunoon Community Radio, using just my car radio. Like a doughball I never thought of going to the web and me with a masters in digital techniques. Really, what a doughball.
Luckily my morning alarm and my in house stereo magicslly found D.C.R. Now Im hooked. It really is a fabulous station. I look forward to many good hours spent listening in to D.C.R.

Celtic Music Radio has today, Friday 20 July, been awarded a licence a broadcast on the FM waveband by broadcasting and telecoms regulator Ofcom.
Ofcom considered Celtic Music Radio’s community radio licence application which was lodged in February 2012 as part of the Ofcom Round 3 of Community Radio Licensing in Scotland.
Celtic Music Radio was launched in January 2008 at the start of Celtic Connections 2008 broadcasting on 1530 AM/MW as there no usable or available FM frequencies in the Glasgow area, so rather than not provide a service, Celtic Music Radio accepted the licence to broadcast on the AM medium waveband.

I received this much appreciated comment from Holly in Hawaii after last nights Sounds of the South show;
Holly wrote: “I liked today’s show, but the one two weeks ago was spectacular. I was in Las Vegas listening, and wishing for a tape of it–so much interesting stuff goes by so quickly. Any thought of selling tapes or what have you? Be a great fundraiser. I’d buy them all.”

Easter Poem
Betrayed by a friend to set us free
then nailed to a cross
for all to see
for sinners such as the likes of me
nailed to the cross
where his blood ran red
nailed to the cross
until he was dead
It is finished he cried with his final breath
this fulfilled what the prophets had said
Then he rose again like the good book said
for it was foretold he would rise from the dead
He had come to earth as a man
to fulfil the bibles plan
he came to save whoever repents
that’s why the son of god was sent
