Thursday morning started with the Gold Medal Final, and the Rural Choir competitions. In the studio we were joined by some of the adult competitors including Donnie Large who was competing in the Adult Folk Group competitions.

The competitions ended with the Traditional Final in the evening. Winner of the ladies competition was Cairstiona Stone from Caithness and the winner of the mens competition was Alex MacDonald from North Lanarkshire
