On behalf of everyone at the Scottish Community Broadcast Network, we extend our warmest congratulations to Dunoon Community Radio on going "live" on air.

It is incredibly satisfying and exciting after such a long time in preparation and planning, to step into the car, house or other premises and hear the station playing loud and clear to the Dunoon community.

At long last the full benefit of being local and part of the community, can be appreciated by a wide range of organisations and groups.

The local Churches, youth groups, Gaelic and cultural organisations, festival societies and truly local community associations, will be able to use the station to get their message across to everyone who listens...what a privilege and generally free !!!

From everyone in Community Radio across Scotland, we hope the Dunoon community will get quickly and firmly behind you and support Dunoon Community Radio as volunteers, with all the flare, imagination, vision and dynamism that will be necessary to build and grow the listener base.

Once again from all at the Scottish Community Broadcast Network, our heart felt congratulations to you all, on beginning to broadcast.
Well done !!!! keep smiling, indulge yourselves in the fantastic feeling of going live and know that what your doing could change Dunoon in so many positive ways...

Fantastic to hear your now Live and Kicking !!!!!

Hi Victor, Douglas and Team,
Great news, both for you and Dunoon. I hope that the people of Dunoon support you and tune in to your station on 97.4FM. What you have done is truly exceptional, the time you must have devoted to this in it's self, is surely worthy of success. Who would have thought that a small place like Dunoon would have their own community radio, it is a great achievement. When you all get famous and your station is broadcasting throughout Scotland, someone will come and offer you a penthouse. May I and everyone at Bell's of Dunoon wish you every success in your new venture.
Yours in Friendship
