The Sun Came Out

The sun shone well at least it stayed dry, with all the rain we have been having recently, there was lots of crossed fingers and prayers on the run up to Cowal Games starting with our Roadshow on Saturday the 22nd we even managed some sun though it did get a bit blustery at times. With a good mix of entertainment it certainly seemed to keep the audience happy. Then came Kirn Gala on Wednesday, rain all morning looked ominous but the weather reporters did get it right and at 3.30pm it started to brighten up and a couple of light showers later on failed to dampen the mood. Then it was the time for Cowal Games, history states that if it is dry for Rothesay it will be wet for Cowal so thinks weren’t looking good, however, the morning was dry although the afternoon did bring showers interspersed with bright spells of sun. Reports on the Argyll Gardens Roadshow and Kirn Gala are on the Roadshows page, some pictures from Cowal Games are on the Cowal Games Page
