Have you had a e-mail informing you about “ICE” a new initiative from the Ambulance Service to help in case of a emergency?
We all carry mobile phones with names and numbers stored in its memory. But, if we were to be involved in accident which one of those hundreds of numbers would the people attending us phone in case of an emergency?

Robert Burns 250th Anniversary

Today is the 250th Anniversary of Roberts Burns birth and the start of Homecoming Scotland 2009. So raise a glass and toast our bard, maybe at one of the many burns suppers that are happening across the country tonight. After today there are many other events happening across the country to celebrate the various things Scotland has to offer. GOOD WAY FOR DCR TO START THE YEAR

Victor and Douglas CHC Jan 2009Having received an invitation from the Dunoon and Cowal Heritage Society to send along a representative from Dunoon Community Radio to their first meeting of 2009, Douglas and Victor were despatched along to the meeting held at the Camera Club premises in Dunoon’s Castle Street.

The Camera Club premises for those who donated know is a wonderful venue for meetings which are held in their small cinema.
