It’s that time again and DCR are proud to announce that once again We have been invited to put up our gazebo amongst the Charity stalls. And along with some lively banter from the road crew, provide Music and Entertainment for one and all.
MAIN STAGE
As is usual at Kirn Gala, a full evenings entertainment has again been organised all starting at 6pm. At the main stage will be THE D.G.S. PIPE BAND,

LOTS TO DO
This year there are at least 26 Charity Stalls with lots of interesting things to look at and take part in as well as all the usual Children’s Amusements. Leading the Shenanigans this year at the DCR STAND will be Claire and Fiona who will be encouraging any one who will talk to them to join in the Number One’s request programme. Playing the number one tunes from specially requested dates. So here is your chance to have your request played and announced by DCR and as a wee bonus we will also give you and your request a name check here on the Web-site.
SAY HELLO and HAVE AGO
DCR presenters and guest will be joining in the proceedings to tell you about DCR and why a community radio is vital for Dunoon and how you can help.They will also be inviting folk to try out thier hand at making announcements and D Jing, with guest DJ Tom McKillop from TECHNET101 giving hints and advice. Presenters will also be popping by to talk to folk and play tunes including Douglas and Victor, who will be trying to catch your attention by playing tunes from thier forthcoming radio programmes, Boyz 2 Menz’s Jim Wallace will be giving an introduction into his Sunday Morning Music Show.
GRAND FINALE & GOODNIGHT
This year after the Lone Piper brings the Stage Events to an end the DCR ROADSHOW in association with TECHNET101 will finish off with a spectacular DISCO & LIGHTSHOW which will take place at the main stage, erected on a high vehicle kindly supplied for the occasion by our good friend and supporter Mr Charlie Black of BLACK OF DUNOON (BAKERS) LTD & COWAL COTTAGE BAKERY.
